Manali is a cosmopolitan tourist town located in the northern state of India, Himachal Pradesh. It is situated at the northern end of the Kullu valley, formed by the Beas river. The whole town is covered with beautiful valleys, enormous mountains, and majestic rivers. With an average temperature ranging from 37.3°C in June to -4°C in December, Manali can be the ideal place to escape during the summer and play in the snow during the winter.

First day : The diversity it offers
Manali is also blessed with a diverse culture. It is famous for its indigenous folk songs and dances like Naati and Kayang, though we couldn’t experience them as our trip was just for 4 days. It took us around 12 hours to reach Manali via roadway from Delhi. The best part about planning a trip through a travel agency is that one need not worry about the hospitality part because it’s already been done. We reached our hotel around 2 pm in the afternoon, followed by some mandatory rest(we were exhausted from the travel) and a scrumptious dinner.

Second Day : Towards Rohtang
The next morning, we went to Rohtang Pass, which is around 6000m above sea level. Rohtang Pass only opens during the summer season as it is not feasible to visit during the winter. The view from the top was mesmerising. The cold breezes gives you a soothing feeling. At Rohtang Pass, there are lots of options for adventure sports. We tried our hands at skiing and yak riding, and trust me, the feeling was great. (Although we were all shivering at the time because the temperature was below zero degrees )

In the evening, a few of us visited the famous Hadimba temple in Manali. The mall road market has a lot of things for shopaholics, such as jewelry, handicrafts, and manali shawls. On the way back to our hotel, we stopped at Solang Valley, the most beautiful and most crowded place in Manali. Solang Valley is the hub of paragliding sports, although we weren’t able to do paragliding all thanks to the winds, which were below the permissable level.
THIRD DAY : Diving Into rivers

On day 3, we went for another adventure sport. This time it was river rafting. It took us around 40–45 minutes to river raft a stretch of 12 km. Rafting in Manali is famous for 2 things Firstly, the water is so cold and, secondly, huge boulders between the rivers make it more challenging to raft. The river rafting was followed by a decent lunch and a camp site. On the same night, on our way back to Delhi, we stopped at our last destination at Kasol
Fourth Day: Stay at Kasol

Kasol is a popular chilling spot in Himachal Pradesh, close to Manali. Kasol is famous for its brownies and greenary (pun intended). We did a bonfire round during our stay in Kasol and sang our favourite songs. The next morning, we headed towards the Gurudwara Sahib Manikaran, which is situated at the top of the Parvati river. The Manikarn Gurudwara is also famous for its hot water well, its scenic beauty, and, of course, the langar, which offers delicious food.

Finally, it was time to say good-bye to the most beautiful place in India. It is one of the places where I will not hesitate to visit again. Until then, it’s time to create new adventures, new memories, and new bonds.
